American Airlines Flight Crashes into Helicopter in D.C.
The passenger aircraft was arriving from Wichita, Kansas.
On the evening of January 29th, a passenger aircraft collided midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while on approach to the runway near Reagan National Airport outside of Washington, D.C., per CNN.
The plane was reportedly a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet being flown by American Airlines. Experts are presently unsure of what caused the crash, but all flights out of the airport have been halted as a result of the accident.

UPDATE: Authorities have confirmed that there were no survivors.
